ZilvanLongboards - SWS -(SixWheeledSession)

ZilvanLongboards - SWS -(SixWheeledSession)

ZILVANLONGBOARDS SWS - SIX WHEELED SESSION DECK…

Real un-tethered Tanking… sums up this monstrostatie from the ZLB guys… this ones worth a look but chance a ride if you dare…
Upwards to 12”-14”inches in width.. Fully gripped madness…
2 x Independent 215mm
1 x Scrub ‘Skate Truck’ 12’ plus..
4 x OJIII’s
2 x Alligators
4 x Riser ’Wedge’
Hardware - Various…

Just a force of Motion once under way..
I’ve had this deck up, down and around the BH postcode over the last few days…
A little ‘Thrown Together’ in finish, not much in the way of a polished precision ride… all heart and cruising soul… a lot of fun in an afternoon.. Would air on the cautious side regarding the younger riders.. Only as it’s width and weight could over power the under prepared… besides those footnotes…
Very entertaining.. Thoroughly enjoyed getting in the groove with it.. Gotta what your toes on those massive hangers.. 12” plus - Close to, or over a foot in width.. Then some 8 -10 cm in wheel.. Leaves you a wide ride, with all the stability your could throw a board at…

I found the most response comes from the rear… twin Independent 215mmm with all four OJIII’s complementing, the ride height… at around 4 inches…
The nose is running a single MTB Truck.. With custom bearings enabling ’Skate/long’ board wheels.. And man is the width from these needed… just to hack a kurb, or step-up at speed.. The width, crossed with weight is justified… the concept behind this thing.. ranging from straight Tanking division, through to a ’Transported/Carrier/Cruiser’… With that MTB Truck laying down a solid footing to pace from.. The riders position is moved around the deck relative to terrain and direction… to take a kurb at pace.. Way back over the rear trucks.. And roll through it… If rolling into/over a kurb or step-up then ‘Pro’ middle to front weight distribution is key.. Able to rock back onto the rear trucks swiftly once up and or over said obstacle…
Between 1 and 2 kilograms in weight.. It’s not much of an easy travellers choice… would recommend a lighter design from the range for any real distance adventures… but I’m sure the persistence in you would push you through the relative obstacles of rolling this ride… and it would bring you home in due time…
Asked the guys where next for this ‘range’ - Travelling sect.. Larger, lighter wheels.. with a choice of truck width. and ride height.. with another nod to total customisation…. Custom Means Custom with ZilvanLongboards… Great fun.. Really interesting…

General discussion around the SWS has bowed towards the weight.. And general usage issues… having appeased the ‘weight‘ demons.. With - ’Give it 3 miles’ and ‘Never mosey home with-it under your arm’…

The usability.. on and off the street is turn for discussion like no other…
Personally.. It’s doable… given with some extended attention for a short while.. As well as chancing your route relative to destination… I have been comfortable with it both on road and off.. And were able to mosey some distance…

From the streets… ‘Way Too Wide’, and ‘No Tail… No Tail…’ is a common enough call.. Really have to be brave and persist to get the ride your after.. But critically.. You can find a smooth run with this ride…

The SWS is also available in 'Haulidge Edition'..
Along with the vast array of acompliments available..
