South-Coast-England-Spots/Runs

South coast downhill show us what you’ve got…

A few guys, ‘crews’ and company’s use this little number on the A35.. Between Christchurch train station and Highlife train station… it’s kool… been down a few times now..

Once or twice with a few gents… and hit it off the train ‘well weathered’ a fair few times…
Head up a ‘start’ is over the railway bridge.. About twenty three metres of flat ..before.. Downhill for just under a quarter mile…. Top speed close to fourty five miles per hour… reletive as to your ride…
Iv’e estimated a ‘Mean’ thirty - thirty-six miles per hour.. Start to stop… Not nearly three years old tarmacadam and road markings…(Usual- ref.Pict)…

Feet set … bag secure, (ref Pict..) The first 600 yards are pretty flat.. standard camber… After that.. Smooth tarmacadam all the way… the cat’s eyes are rubber and a have a tendencie to ‘Bounce’…
Keep off the ‘Gutter’ line (white line runs the length).. Really sketchy in the wet… got grass run-off to one side.. Other is just drain/trees and alike… I got it down now.. As do others.. Very entertaining hill..
Recommend the A35 ‘generaly’ Speaking between Poole and Southampton is a lot of fun…

Yea..
