Hitchings and Baseplates and Clasps.. Oh My!!!

Just Shots... A snap or two... Photational-Toggraphy.. and alike...

Somethings 'A-Rumbeling' the HovverBoard... ... ... ..

ZilvanLongboards - MarkWIA Plus ZLBP- TrailorEdtion

Quite a handful… lot of hardware.. Did work Well..

… We persisted, once brave enough for a hill at speed… we stayed well clear of the ZLBTestHillOne.. To big.. Instead rolled on the training hill nearer the seasalts.. ‘Mellower’, ‘rugged’ ‘training hill’.. a favourite in the late summer..
Not to steep.. Enough for one push at the top.. To roll down at ever increasing velocity way off from terminal..
You ride out the pace in to an expanse of clean flat Tarmacaddam.. the odd cone/bollard to meander.. But all in, really nice hill for testing/training/chillin…

After the third attempt (Faired well.. Just lost the bagg mid-run again).. Fourth were met with pace and vigour.. Sliding the trailor were the agenda now… sort of came off.. Could of thrown it a little harder.. Still a little un-nerving as the hill ’Bottomed-out’ you found yourself on very smooth ground.. Instant gain in pace..
Although the set-up shown is a pure lightweight traveller edition (PLWTE).. We all agreed that larger wheels were essential to a smoother ride, thus enabling increased ‘comfort’ over distance, with an all important reduction in road noise.. general ‘volume’.. the revamp is sure to be alittle more robust..
Decent enough on the roads.. Handled kurbs, ‘full’ and ‘half’… really able to kick after twenty minuets or so.. Once relatively sure we were not to come’acroper, speed, distance won through…
very comfortable once more on the MarkWIA.. Real pleasure that ride.. Never really found the ZLBP-TE a hindrance… even lost a wheel in motion, and the hitch blew-up twice in the space of an hour.. But that said.. The design catered for ’Stowed’ rolling.. We moved in to this face as we lost the light…

Stowed rolling..
Pictured is afew, brief ’Set-up’ shots.. On the transition from rolling MarkWIA-ZLBPTE..
To just MarkWIA, ZLBPTE-Stowed….

Clean and Simple Stowed… Light ‘Robust’ setup… Surprisingly Comfortable to cruise.
Note the Wheel Nuts… … …

Stowed… Un-clasped…

Once on your back, or in the hand.. This under 2 kilogram trailor/bagg set just keeps rolling with you.. I were able in under 3 minuets to be rolling.. And having settled stride.. Cruising around became quite the way to travel… I’m not all that sure on this Although, The benefits of having a ’Stiff Bagg’ were apparent.. Once stowed the ZLBP-TE felt good and solid on your back.. No swaying weight some packs.. Snug fit helped the poster, thus bringing on the pace once more with even stride and clean technique...

Once in-stride felt like no other ride before… Loud, Long. Ludicrous,
We were all agreed… need sensible sized wheels.. The DeathParkers were not up to the challenge, nor all that settled in the turns...

Hitch and claps to ‘Light duty’ for the task at hand.. Worked well for some time. Then let slip…. various issues arose.. In ability to un-hitch at pace…

The ‘Bagg Conundrum’.. just how to ‘attach’ back to trailor whilst in transit.. Still not entirely sure.. Probable best if modifications to the bagg were to take place.. Then stride out with distance in mind…
